| Forum Oenologie Forum Œnologie, A Non-Profit Dedicated to Promoting the Cultural and Educational Image of Grapes and Wine Forum Œnologie’s mission is educational, scientific and cultural. Since its creation in 1981, this non-profit organisation has had as its mission to organise events that promote the art, science and craft of grape growing and winemaking. In this way, it contributes to improving the image of the wine industry. Its very first initiatives were to organise scientific conferences. These highly innovative events created a solid basis for future developments. Subsequently, Forum Œnologie has focused on organising cultural events: Ecrivains du vin®, the Oenovidéo® international wine video festival and the Terroirs d’Images® photo exhibit. Forum Œnologie is also very actively involved in educational efforts. For nearly 15 years, it has developed and provided professional training for judges at international wine competitions. Forum Œnologie is the organiser of ISS (International Syrah Symposium), through which it continues to fulfil its commitment to promoting viticulture and oenology on a solid technical and scientific basis.
