Anne-Sophie Renault-Spilmont

Since September 2001, Anne-Sophie Renault-Spilmont has been a research engineer (project manager) studying Syrah decline at ENTAV and now at IFV (Institut Français de la Vigne et du Vin).

She has designed, coordinated and monitored tests and studies with French farm bureaus, growers’ unions, INRA and CIRAD. She has also conducted research studies under contracts with French regions, the French national government (CTPS projects) and interregional authorities.

  • Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology (1998) - University of Reims
  • Dissertation on grapevine defence mechanisms, in collaboration with Moët & Chandon.

It will make use of the modern facilities at ISARA, an agricultural and food engineering school: videoconferencing, multiplexing and simultaneous translation, in order to present speakers from all over the world.
